In-vitro determination of insulin and C-Peptide levels help in the differential diagnosis of liver disease, acromegaly, Cushing’s syndrome, familial glucose intolerance, insulinoma, renal failure, ingestion of accidental oral hypoglycemic drugs or insulin induced factitious hypoglycemia. |
