NanoWELL ELISA: Single Well, Multiple Parameter

ToRCH describes a group of clinically similar congenital infections caused by Toxoplasma gondii, Rubella, CMV and HSV1 and HSV2. Infections during pregnancy with one of these pathogens can result in severe birth defects in the infant and may also result in death. ToRCH screening is widely requested by clinicians to investigate pregnant women for congenital and perinatal infections. Pregnant women are commonly tested for antibodies to ToRCH antigens during the first two trimesters of pregnancy.

To facilitate ToRCH testing in every Indian clinical laboratory, “NANOPLEX” - a revolutionary technology has been introduced. Every NANOPLEX slide consist of sixteen NanoWELL’s with eight detachable 2-well modules. Each NanoWELL consists of a panel of tiny dots, each representing and comprising of reagents required for an individual test. Every test is duplicated in the standard layout of the panel (colored dots in the inset). Control spots are embedded in each panel to ensure accuracy of results. NANOPLEX provides a complete immunodiagnostic solution to test for either a chosen panel of diseases or for multiple markers of a single disease, while enabling easy customization of the panel depending on the specific needs of the user.
