PRODUCT NAME: | ANAscreen |
INTENDED USE: | ANAscreen is an ELISA test system for the qualitative measurement of IgG antibodies against nuclear antigens, SS-A 52, SS-A 60, SS-B, RNP-70, Sm, RNP/Sm, Scl-70, Centromere B, and Jo-1, in human serum or plasma. |
PRODUCT OVERVIEW: | Antinuclear antibodies (ANA) are detected in patients with systemic autoimmune diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), Sjögren’s syndrome, Sharp syndrome, polymyositis/dermatomyositis, and progressive systemic scleroderma (PSS) with CREST syndrome. ANA thus partially act as makers for the individual connective tissue diseases. Each individual well of the ANAscreen test is coated with a mixture of nine human recombinant and native, highly purified antigens, allowing for sensitive detection of these autoantibodies. After a positive result with this test, further differentiation of the autoantibodies should be carried out with the ANAcombi test or the respective single antigen ELISA assays. |
